1. Eligibility
You must be at least 30 years of age to use 30andMe. We reserve the right to verify your age and terminate accounts that do not meet this criterion.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You may only create one account per person.
- All information you provide must be accurate and truthful.
- You may not impersonate another person or entity.
3. Profile Immutability
30andMe uses an immutable profile system. Once your profile questionnaire is completed, your responses cannot be edited. This ensures authenticity. Contact support for corrections due to errors.
4. Matching & Communication
- Matches are generated by our AI algorithm every 6 hours.
- Matched users receive a 7-day chat window.
- Contact information may only be shared through mutual consent.
- 30andMe does not guarantee any specific outcome from matches.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Send spam, solicitations, or commercial content
- Share explicit, offensive, or illegal content
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the matching algorithm
6. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of your submitted content. By using the Service, you grant 30andMe a limited license to use this content solely for providing the Service.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 30andMe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
