How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Can I change my profile after creation?
30andMe uses immutable profiles by design. Once submitted, your responses are locked. Contact support@30and.me if you made an error.
How does matching work?
Twice a day the engine scores everyone against your answers on 30 traits and introduces you to a few people. You choose one, and the two of you get seven days.
Is 30andMe free?
Yes, all of it. Downloading, building your profile, receiving introductions, and talking to the person you chose are all free. There is no unlock, no subscription, and no paywall between two people who picked each other.
What happens when a 7 day chat window expires?
If both users have not exchanged contact info, the chat closes. This encourages real conversations and actual dates.
